Our Story

Nail Care Glow started the way most good things do out of frustration and a little obsession. Our founder, Valentina Ortiz, spent years bouncing between conflicting online advice, products that damaged more than they helped and nail art tutorials that skipped the steps that actually mattered. She wanted one place that took nail health as seriously as nail beauty.

So she built it. What began as a small blog sharing honest tips quickly grew into a trusted community of nail lovers, beginners, and DIY artists. As demand grew, Valentina was joined by Gulraiz and Sacha Ballard, who shared her belief that great nail care should be accurate, accessible, and genuinely fun.

Our foundation has never changed: Beautiful nails begin with healthy ones and creativity should be for everyone.

Valentina Ortiz (Founder & Editor-in-Chief) Valentina brings years of hands on nail care experience and an eye for detail that borders on obsessive. She oversees the brand’s direction and ensures every guide reflects our health first philosophy.

Her editorial principle is simple: “If it isn’t accurate and genuinely useful, it doesn’t get published.” Having grown Nail Care Glow from a single blog into a trusted community, her work anchors everything we do in honesty and care.

Sacha Ballard (Senior Nail Art Editor) Sacha leads our creative and tutorial content, specializing in nail art techniques that range from beginner friendly to advanced. With a background in freelance nail artistry and design, she’s known for breaking intricate designs into steps anyone can follow. Her philosophy? “Great art starts with great instruction.” Sacha personally tests every tutorial to make sure it works on real nails not just under studio lights keeping our creative content as reliable as it is inspiring.

Together with Gulraiz, who supports our research and product testing process, our editors ensure that every article, review, and tutorial is accurate, practical, and aligned with our mission to make nail care both healthy and beautiful.
